I would like to thank Cherie and Joanne for their kindness and compassion in
helping to transport my Chow from Kentucky to Boston. Not only did they
display utmost professionalism, they truly showed their love of animals.
Additionally, as we happened to arrive in Boston a day later than scheduled,
they offered without any hesitation to keep my Chow overnight with NO
charge!

Thank you Cherie and Joanne!
Sincerely,
Sophia

I want to share the wonderful experience that I had with Cherie at One Paw At A Time. I was recently in a bind to get my dogs transported from Boston to a small airport in New York, where they would be boarding a Pet Airways flight to Denver. I was luckily referred to Cherie, who I found wonderful to work with. She was reliable, friendly, prompt and eager to help! I immediately trusted her with my dogs, who seemed very much at ease in her care. Cherie provided me with updates on my dogs throughout their drive. She made their ride very comfortable with plenty of bathroom and treat breaks.
I would highly recommend that people contact Cherie at One Paw At A Time if they need their pets transported. As a veterinarian I will be sure to refer my clients to her.

Skeptic about testimonials?
I was until I started dealing with Cherie at One Paw At A Time. After several emails and calls, I was convinced that One Paw At A Time would be my best choice in transporting my four cats from MA to VA. My indoor cats typically never go for any sort of rides and I even had a mobil vet so they wouldn’t get stressed out from being in a strange environment. Having to deal with selling my home, finding a rental place that would allow for 1 dog and 4 cats, making the move etc., I was the one who was stressed beyond control. I thought for sure that I would lose a cat or two from anxiety in the move. Cherie made me feel so comfortable every time we contacted each other that finally I calmed down.
On moving day, my furniture movers quietly waited behind the scene until all the cats were packed and ready to go. As they left, I tried to keep my mind on the movers. When we were packed and went off with our dog to go for the 700 mile trip, I found that I no longer worried about my cats and knew they were in good hands.
Cherie and Susan took the cats to a pet friendly hotel that night and joined us the next day in VA. Absolutely everything went very well and my cats soon settled in at the new house. A week later, Cherie even called me to see how we were making out. This testimonial is true and I believe this is the best way to go when you move your pets. Safe, secure and happy!

I just moved from North Carolina to Maine. Moving is never a fun or easy
experience and when one has a rather large dog and three cats, it's even
more difficult! Transporting them all in my car was not an option and I
had heard horror stories about putting animals on a plane. So I was
thrilled to find One Paw At A Time on the web. They are a fantastic
alternative to flying animals or trying to do it all yourself.
Cherie and Joanne are not only consummate professionals, they are just
great with the animals. They were extremely responsive to my (numerous)
questions and requests and very flexible with my date changes. But most
of all, you can tell they love the animals they are helping. They tend to
their every need and really plan the trip and the surroundings so the
animals are as comfortable as they can be.
My experience with One Paw At A Time was exceptional and I would recommend
them to anyone who wants at least one aspect of their move to be
stress-free! I never worried once about my cats as I knew they were in
good hands and Cherie and Joanne were great about calling daily to update
me on how the trip was going.
I am so lucky to have found people who provide such a needed service and
are so great at it.
With immense gratitude,
Heidi (and Callie, Indy and BeeGee)

I am very happy to write about how fortunate I have been to meet Cherie and her business "One Paw At A Time". Cherie is a very compassionate person who loves animals. My golden retriever, Max is always so excited to see her.
I have used her services to transport Max from my home in Duxbury, Mass to Florida and back to Duxbury.
I feel she does a wonderful job and Max is very safe with her and very well taken care of. I would highly recommend One Paw At A Time to anyone.

Dear One Paw At A Time,
I recently moved from Massachusetts to Florida. Moving is never a fun experience, and when you need to transport pets, it is an added worrisome burden. How would I get my 4 (very large) cats to their new home in Florida while preserving both my sanity and the cats' well-being?
Putting them on a plane was not possible as none of the airlines I contacted would allow me to transport all 4 cats at the same time. And the thought of driving myself with 4 cats in my car was also not tops on my list.
I had read about "One Paw At A Time" in a newspaper article about a year ago and after looking up their website, I was fairly certain that this would be a far better alternative. And I am delighted to report that my experience with this company was absolutely the best.
Cherie and Joanne treated my pets as if they were their own. It was very reassuring to know that my kitties were being taken care of so well. Cherie and Joanne were completely thorough in anticipating the cats every need as they drove them to their new home. They took care of all the logistics and my "babies" arrived safe and sound in two and a half days. (In comparison, my car took 5 days and my furniture took a full 2 weeks to arrive after leaving me on the same day as the cats.)
In addition, when they arrived at my new home, my water had mistakenly been turned off and I had to get to the Water Department to get the water turned back on. Not wanting to leave the kids alone so soon after they arrived at their new home, my new friends at "One Paw At A Time" offered to stay with the cats in the house while I drove to City Hall to get the water service reinstated. This was above and beyond the call of duty and I very much appreciated this added service.
It has been three weeks now since the big move and while I am still recuperating, the cats have settled in very well and are enjoying the sunshine.
Thanks again to Cherie and Joanne for providing outstanding service. I highly recommend "One Paw At A Time" as a "kind" and reassuring alternative to transporting much loved pets.
Very Truly Yours,
Lois

Hi! Everyone
I'm From Canada and my husband got a job in the states. We had to move and
one of my big concerns was how are we going to move our pets? These are my
babies and I wanted the best for them. Guess what? I got it with
Cherie...When my babies got to the states, after a 16 hour trip. They were happy, playful...the way I wanted them to be...I was afraid they were going to be nervous...not at all. Cherie took care of them as if they were hers. Thank you, Thank you again. We are here on a 3 year contract so the next move I'm calling my Cherie. I'm sure my cat and dog will be happy to see her again...
Thank you
Lots of love!
Mimi

Cherie and Susan are lifesavers! They transported my two beloved cats
from upstate NY to Statesville, NC - a trip that I could not have
possibly have done with my cats. Their pickup and delivery went very
smoothly and my cats have now settled into their new home quite nicely.
Kudos to both these ladies who undertakes the responsibility and care in
lovingly transporting our beautiful animals everywhere. Every dollar
was well spent in guaranteeing that my two cats were carefully handled
and watched over. I would use them again in a heartbeat and plan to let
people everywhere know about this fantastic duo and their gratifying
service. God bless you and keep up the excellent service that you
provide. :-)
